I have great talented friends. And I shall take a photo with them first so that at least in the future, I can proudly say that, “Hey, I know her/him and here’s proof!”. Haha.

One is writing for Lime magazine and Youth.sg. Getting to interview celebrities and review movies.

One is hoping to be one of the Singapore Girls. Yes, SIA. And I must take a photo with her first. At least I, too, will have a Singapore girl as my friend. Haha.

One is dancing ever-so-passionately. Dancing is his passion, his life, and it runs in his blood.

One had secured a scholarship to a renowned Drama school abroad.

One is carving her way to hold a degree in psychology.

One is excelling in rugby.

And more.

Yours truly? Stuck with a job at an island wearing a hideous new uniform.
Greatness.

=)

Hak Goes Guerrilla.

November28

Watch out.
Blogging’s getting more and more dull and mundane with each and everyone turning to wordpress.
Maybe it’s time I come back to using blogspot.
And after learning about all those defamation laws, sueing people is as easy as saying “A,S,S”.

Heard of Comme des Garcons’ Guerilla Store? “CdGGS+65″ is the name of the shop if im not wrong. It’s now being located at some heartland area. Cheap rentals, not really a strategic location yet they survived as it’s just like the thrill of having to locate the shop and getting their limited editions.

It’s time we add some spice to this online world of blogging. Instead of gaining readership, run away from it. That GTG elements:
Go for a really long hiatus and come back with a big Bang.
Tagboards and comment boxes are items of the past, they are passé. Or just..
Go Guerilla. It’s that simple.

Have I Told You..

November27

.. that I went to Tokyo like last few weeks ago?
Don’t believe me? Here’s proof!

16-11-06_1808.jpg

… that my name was listed in Noise Singapore’s booklet?

pict0035480.jpg
Well ok, it’s just my name. Haha. I just participated.

… about my Hippo Bus adventure?

25-11-06_1657.jpg
Ouh yes I did.

… that I went for Puteri Gunung Ledang (Princess of Mt. Ledang) The Musical?

26-11-06_1542.jpg

And it was freaking awesome to be done by a Malay production! Superbly superb.

that my friend had a new haircut?

dsc00558.JPG
Well, just feel like blogging about it.

Ouh didn’t I tell you that I went to Tokyo?

16-11-06_1801.jpg
This was Tokyo.

And finally,

Meet Chibai.

Yes, this poor little pathetic looking cat’s called Chibai. Call her cute and sweet little cat but she’s FAR from that. This is one cat I feared the most. Not only me, but anyone else. It’s Clarisse’s Chibai. Everytime I look at her, she would stare at me like seriously. And if you really look into her eyes, it’s as if any moment later, that freaking Chibai will just prance at you. Oh yes, she WILL prance at you. I’ve seen how high she could jump.

Someone, anyone, please. Assignments are killing me.

Hippo-Eh-Tai-Tai-Eh

One of the perks of working over there. Enjoying free rides (cuz you need to experience it to convince guests to go for it) and much more. Just that it also comes with few unenjoyable stuffs.

25-11-06_1257.jpg

Worked at the usual place yesterday, the place where tour groups arrive. And another perk of working there? This is called mingling around and socialising,

 25-11-06_1704-copy.jpg

We got to hop on board the Hippo Bus! All thanks to me! Haha. It was euphoric I tell you. We felt like tourist just for that moment taking photos while the chilly wind pierced our face. Haha.

Let the pictures do the talking.

25-11-06_1709.jpg25-11-06_1715.jpg

 25-11-06_1717.jpg

And by the end of the ride, the ouh-so-emo Jask and Clar got all-so-high. It was just, a great experience!

Till then!

Break from the Hustles.

November24

21-11-06_2316.jpg

Sometimes, one needs to take a break from the hustles and bustles of everyday life and just heave a huge sigh.

Last Tuesday was a night out with some of my friends to Club Momo to watch SpanishFly in action. Some underage event called “Playground @ Momo”. The first band that came up on stage slaughtered all their songs but SpanishFly came to the rescue. Due to the nature of the event (having kids aged 16 and 17), smoking was restricted in the area and the whole of Club Momo only sold sodas and punches.

 21-11-06_2319.jpg21-11-06_2318.jpg

Walked around to grab some supper and headed home.

That was just a little teenie weenie break before starting on with school stuffs and assignments. Lecturers are demanding more quality work from us since we’re already in Year2. Getting better grades seem almost impossible now but I think they will moderate the grades again.

Work’s kinda screw up. Just because I’m new, they “throw” me here and there, filling up empty spaces and the reason they give, so that you learn faster. Keep adjusting my schedule, keep asking me if I can work this day and that day. As if I’ve no school. Hello, that IS why I’m a part-timer. Such arses. And I hate, abhor, detest working at Group arrival centre. Its freaking hot when it’s sunny, freaking wet when it rains (with leakages everywhere), and freaking boring. Just seeing tour guides and tourist who loves taking more than 1 brochure of the same kind.

Now I know, that Kiasuism isn’t just Singaporean’s niche. Gawd, some other country (decline to name them) also lah. And I just have to calm myself down and arrange the damn brochures back. For goodness sake, its just an Island Guide! Not like you’re getting free Hello Kitty inside it!! Gosh.

Till then..

J’adore Moi.

November22

I love reading emails specially typed out just for my reading pleasure. Rather than those chain letters, whatever letters that is mass forwarded to all. Don’t know why but it makes my day. Haha. And I will personally find the time to reply back to them.

On another note, Buttcheeks turned my stuff into their logo. And they slaughter one of my design by printing it on a lousy quality, ugly-looking, tight-budget top. And they have not contact me for quite some time already. How bitchy of them.

And lesson learnt, never try going for some underage party. You will be surrounded by them, and because of them, you’re restricted to no smoking inside and only sodas and juices. Wow. But it’s all for the love of Spanish Fly, ok! Dong, your band’s great!

Gotta go. See. Im always in a rush. Dang! No time to even put up pictures like I usually do.

Build-Up.

November21

Cheers to my dearest sister and supportive friends.

We all learn as we go. And as we progress, we pick up new skills and experiences. It’s time to be out in the open looking for opportunities that come in our way. And it all brings down to the individual whether he/ she chooses to be exposed to the “real world”, ya know, those stuffs your lecturer always warn you about.

Life, has been kinda hectic for me these few days. Juggling between work and school and assignments and freelancing and all them bullcraps. Well duh, this is life. No stress and hardship, no kick. Had the time to be online but not the time to be blogging.

Today would be like the first time for this xmas season that I went to town not being amused by the decos put up. Gold? Yellow? It’s just soo similar to the Hari Raya and Deepavali light-ups. Or isit that the upstairs people spent too much on the fireworks last August that the budget is cut down drastically for this year’s xmas light-up. Please, where’s the nation participation in decorating town? At least hold some competitions whereby different arts/tertiary instituitions compete on decorating a site based on one theme. That would spice things up. Or maybe.

I was even lazy to snap any pictures. And that boxes of supposedly-to-be xmas trees at Plaza Sing’s entrance not only would be an eye sore, it also causes obstacles for people to get in the mall. And the boxes are sticked with the word “SK Jewellery”. It’s as if that shop just abandoned all their boxes outside the mall just for the enjoyment of irritating people from getting in.

Gawsh how bitchy.

Watching Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical together with some buddies of mine on the Sunday. Yes, kind soul offered to treat me to it. =). Anyone for the Phantom of the Opera next year? Yes there’s that Notre Dame Musical thingy happening but I’m gona have to pass cuz it’s at the indoor stadium. And indoor stadium is like, if you’ve been there, you know what I mean. I would rather sit at home watching the cartoon than having to bring binoculars down.

I should sleep now. And counting the number of blonde sheeps in my dreamland. I wana see how bimbotic and dumb a blonde the sheeps can be when it comes to talking about their sexual encounters. Yes, im bullcrapping already.

I Smell Fury.

November18

Come on people, have you seen the adverts from Singnet and the other one from Starhub? This one below is from Singnet.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SWaM2D0MaY]

And the other one, from Starhub? About the Fat Green Pipe and the red little creature? Gawsh.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMnaTLiZxsM]

Like, how clear and obvious can it be? Okay maybe some would be oblivious to these ads and their sly hidden agenda. Like, come on! I smell something fishy going on between them? The two ads, involve 2 main characters; one in red and the other one in green and yellow. And in Singnet’s advert, the slim red guy wins the match. In Starhub’s, the fat green pipe is the main highlight.

One of these days, if they are like super boliao, one of them will try to sue the other. They can like try sueing one another, but it all depends man. Like, the upstairs people aren’t keen in monopolising, so it might be a waste of time sueing each other. Haha. This is what learning Media Law Policy will do you.

What will they come up with next?

Happy? No. Depressed.

November18

Clar and Jask is in a state of depression.

Yeah friend.. I feel for you. I feel for you. But sometimes, thats just the way it is kay. Muahaha. (Personal joke. So if you’re confused, you should be and stay confused yea)

Haha. They were like all whiny and complaining and sadded on the way back home in the cab.

Anyway, tonight was great. =)
