What are the probability of getting a Wii on my birthday?
Or maybe a DSLR.
A portable gaming console.
Or a Wacom Graphire. Read the rest of this entry »

It PWNs me.

May31

Know what, there’s just too much internet/ gaming slangs out there that sometimes it will just make you scratch your head saying “Huh?”. I still remembered when I got into my workplace, my colleague was talking about getting a Wii and all things Wii. And I was there, eavesdropping and still trying to figure out if they’re speaking gibberish or, normally.

Yes, you know me as this arty guy who spends time appreciating the finer things in life (not!) rather than to be sitting on the couch at home holding a game controller. The last game that I got addicted to was the Sims followed by Need for Speed and Def Jam. Then, Adobe took over my life and I abandoned my XBox. Wii was released late last year and I didn’t even know it existed until late last month. Yes, I was that uninformed and outdated when it comes to gaming. My lil sis can even beat me to a game of drifting in NFS (Yes, I suck at drifting- in NFS *shouts “Loser”*).

Fcuk Heads.

Ok, for those studying in sing poly, you might notice some stuffs lying on the ground on the Monday. And gawsh, didn’t know that it’s gonna create much of a hype.

It’s funny how homosapiens are able to give huge negative feedbacks on the adverts instead of like commending us for the effort in doing something out of the norm. And it’s even funnier to be informed that one of the big sticker posted on the ground has been “stolen” from some itchy-handed barsthird.

And for all that responses we got, we have to explain, in words, on the rationale of the movements that we made. Read the rest of this entry »

May26

Ouh come on, just admit it, you know you missed the ever so bubbly Hak. Who’ll just spurt out random nonsensical shats and just putting a smile on your face. Ok, self praise is no praise. I know, I know so don’t rub it in.

So aniway, yeah, I missed me too. Gawd, life is utterly occupied that gawsh, I never felt so, hardworking for the past two years in my course of study in polytechnic. I won’t have the time of updating religiously, or maybe not. Whatever it is, just come back to this blog la ok. In a “lian” way, IeE heArts iEuU xoxo. What Makes You Proud to Be a Singaporean?

May21

Remember those fireworks a few months ago? Yes, it touched my heart, partly cuz, hey, who’s lucky enough to have a massive display of fireworks as this for their birthday? Yeah, just a point of information, I’m one of those lucky ones to be born a day right before the nation’s birthday, and to add on to that, bearing the four digits of 8 as my birthdate (now say after me, Cool or what?) 08.08.88 .

Ouh come on, don’t pretend as if it’s difficult to remember them. You know what to do, when the time comes. I’m not asking you to buy 4D (cause the chances of winning will probably be 0.1429%).

So what makes one proud to be a citizen of Singapura? Or rather what are the things that make up this lil red dot in the map?

Let’s sort it out in each individuals point of view. Read the rest of this entry »

The World Out There.

Disclaimer: All text no pictures. Due to unforeseen circumstances, writer doesn’t wish to upload any pictures as he finds it irrelevant. And partly because writer’s friend have not emailed him the images took over the course of the day and that writer did not snap photos for the day.

Well, today, was like a change from the usual routine job that I have to attend to every weekdays (and tell me, how am I gonna face the workforce). It wasn’t something of the usual out to town for a walk just because town is the only place to be kinda thing. I ended my day today, saying to myself, “Hey, there’s more to life than just eating, sleeping and watching television”.

My day started with a meet up with 4 other web loggers of mine (well, maybe three plus a newfound friend). Eddy, Sha, Faddy and anonymous. Since Eddy’s workplace was having some kind of open house, we decided to drop by for a little tour around and to pass him his belated birthday presz.

I’ve got to admit, I was being such a suagu/ jakun/ mountain tortoise when he brought us around sharing with us a lil bit of history here and there. Cool or what? It wasn’t the first time I met Eddy up as he was the one who provided us with tix to the then Singapore Idol. And it certainly wasn’t the first time I met Faddy, cuz she’s my best girl (space) friend. I bumped onto Unc Sha once but we were going separate ways, so didn’t really had a chance to talk to him, and anonymous, haha, a newfound friend whose life’s so exciting can. Haha. I was all ears when she shared with us her stories. Read the rest of this entry »
