Conceptualised the idea of having a paper toy figurine that goes around saving the world during the Christmas season. ZUJI fans are encouraged to give their wackiest captions to the images of Mr. Z in different scenarios and also print out and fold the paper toy.
Campaign was held during the festive Christmas season of 2010.

Padi’s Point Cafe . Restaurant

Client wants a place where working crowd would dine during their lunch hour and families come for dinner; a place for all. Thus, the casual look. The mosaic-shaped sun (client requests for Sun motif to be used) is the overarching identity for the restaurant that can be used throughout their collateral.

The look gives a casual dining kinda vibe that doesn’t repel the locals (as restaurant is situated at the heartland Toa Payoh)

Design by Dynamix Works . The Interior Consultant

The vertical logo spells out “dbd” yet playing with the idea of using quotation marks as the main focus. The logo looks like a chandelier or a fountain; two decorative objects widely used in interior designing. The dreamy, colourful orbits in the logo expresses the vibrancy of Design By Dynamix and the different clients they have worked with. The logo is pyramidal to further convey the message that Design By Dynamix aims to be the creme de la creme in the sector.

The dot of the letter “i” in Design By Dynamix is replaced with quotation marks. In a way, Design by Dynamix communicates and delivers projects.

Muerel Closet

Client is a blogshop in Facebook catering to women apparels. The “E” in “CLOSET” is reflected to symbolise the number 3 as the blogshop was the product of 3 young women. “Muerel” was constructed out of their 3 names.

The scribbles take the shape of a side profile of a woman’s face. It gives the sophisticated yet slightly playful image of woman, depicting the modern women of today, as there’s a child in everyone of us.

Based on the French Revolution that happened in May 1968. The text, adapted from posters I’ve gathered for the event then giving it a lil local flavor. Purposely mixing English and French together, just to have it a bit of a local context, the rojak-ness in it.
Like how Singaporeans would speak in broken French.

I don’t want it all to be in French cuz lets face it, Singaporeans need to babel fish to translate them into English, then understand what I’m talking about. And most people, they do not even know about what happened in May 1968 in France.
It’s all specifically related to the event of May 68, the students, police and General de Gaulle.
